Community Service
Community Service Requirements
A total of 40 hours of community service is required for graduation. Students are encouraged to start completing hours during their freshman year. Community service options that we are notified about are posted on all students Guidance Google Classrooms and also posted on the bulletin board in the guidance office. Students are required to complete the Community Service Form and turn it in to Mrs. Webb, Guidance Secretary. Students should make a photo copy of their form for their records and/or document the hours they complete to add to their resume and college applications during their senior year.
- Community service is work done without pay for someone outside your immediate family.
- Community service can be done in school or in the community but not during school hours.
- You may reach out to members of your community and/or the Guidance Department for suggestions.
- Community service for disciplinary purposes will not be counted.
