Cranberry Education Foundation Scholarship**

Eligible Applicants

•  Applicant must be graduating in the spring of 2024 from any high school or technical school and have been accepted to an accredited college or school of higher education OR applicant must be enrolled at an institution of higher learning (post-high school).  
 
•  Applicant must be from a cranberry growing town listed here:  Acushnet, Attleboro, Barnstable, Berkley, Bourne, Brewster, Bridgewater, Carver, Carlisle, Chatham, Dartmouth, Dennis, Duxbury, E. Bridgewater, Easton, Falmouth, Foxboro, Freetown, Halifax, Hanover, Hanson, Harwich, Kingston, Lakeville, Marion, Marshfield, Mashpee, Mattapoisett, Middleboro, Nantucket, New Bedford, New Braintree, Norfolk, Norton, Norwell, Orleans, Pembroke, Plymouth, Plympton, Raynham, Rehoboth, Rochester, Sandwich, Scituate, Sharon, Swansea, Taunton, Wareham, Wrentham, Yarmouth

•  This award is not limited to any specific field of study, however, individuals studying in the field of cranberry agriculture, the environment, or natural resources will receive priority.  Award to be issued within one school year with exception of a hardship.

•  The CEF Merit Award Committee reserves the right to determine on an annual basis the number of awards and recipients. The award is not available to repeat winners.
 

Application Guidelines and Requirements

The applicant must submit:

1) A completed online application with all required questions answered and documents provided including:

     -  High school junior and senior transcript or postsecondary school transcript. (At the end of the first semester applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0).

     -  Two letters of recommendation from anyone other than family members.

     -  Essay of up to 250 words on why you have chosen your field of study and projected career goals.

The review committee scores each application based on school transcript, projected career goals, and merit.  Payment will be made to the student upon receipt of the student's first semester (or next semester for post-secondary students) grades. THIS IS AN ONLINE APPLICATION
