The Karen Boyle Memorial Scholarship
The Karen Boyle Memorial Scholarship honors the life and legacy of Karen Boyle, who was deeply rooted in the Pembroke community she loved. Karen was the proud wife of David and a devoted mother to Liam and Emily. She was a dedicated community leader and advocate for youth and education, serving as a Cub Scouts Committee Chair, President of the Pembroke Education Department, and an active presence in countless community efforts. Karen found joy in boating, kayaking, music and most of all, in the people around her. She believed in showing up for others and took great pride Pembroke, the place she called home. In her memory, her loving husband, David Boyle, will award scholarships to graduating Pembroke High School seniors who plan tp pursue post-secondary education and who reflect Karen's commitment to community, connection and pride in Pembroke.
This scholarship is available to graduating seniors of PHS who plan to attend college, trade school or other post-secondary education.
