Mission Statement

Mission Statement: 

The School Counseling Department at Pembroke High School advocates for all Pembroke High School students and develops relationships within the community. Counselors help to guide and support students with their academic planning, personal/social development and with college and career readiness. By taking a holistic approach of collaboration with students, parents, faculty and community members, counselors will assist students with post-secondary goals while preparing them to become successful and active members of their community.

The Pembroke High School Guidance Office is aligned with the MA Model in its delivery of college and career readiness curriculum to PHS students. School Counselors meet and work with students and families for a variety of reasons, including academics, college and career planning or social/emotional concerns.  Services are delivered in a variety of ways, including individual meetings, guidance seminars, evening presentations, parent and community evening meetings, coffee and conversation, parent and teacher consultation, phone, email, and the PHS Guidance Department website.
