Our first annual International Cafe, which was on Thursday, October 17, was a tremendous success. We had 15 different tables of food, drink, and souvenirs representing 15 different countries that reflect the diverse backgrounds and ethnicities of our school community. The event was free of charge and was the result of the hard work of so many of our students, staff members, and their families. A special thanks goes out to the members of our Spanish, French, and Multicultural Clubs as well as faculty members Mrs. Whitehill, Mrs. Ruthie Lydon, Ms. Elfilali, Ms. Savizadeh, and Mr. Silva-Delgado. It was an added bonus that our French Exchange Students were visiting us this week and could enjoy the evening as well. We are already looking forward to hosting next year's event.
