Recently, Mrs. Sam Knisely, our school nurse for seven years, submitted her resignation to pursue other endeavors. While we hated to see Mrs. Knisley, a crucial member of our team, leave, we wish her the best of luck in her new position.

After two weeks of interviews, I am delighted to introduce Mrs. Susan McEvoy to our faculty as our new school nurse. Mrs. McEvoy possesses a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) from George Washington University and a Master of Science (Nurse Education) from The University of Phoenix. Most recently, she had been a school nurse for Holbrook Public Schools. She also has an extensive background as a Pediatric Nurse at South Shore Hospital and a Cardiology Nurse at Children's Hospital.

Mrs. McEvoy will officially begin on Friday, February 13. In the meantime, our nurse's office will be staffed by substitute nurses and/or nurses from other schools in our district.
