Get ready to "Die with Laughter" at the upcoming Pembroke High School Thespian Troupe #7127 musical, "The Addams Family, School Edition"! Based on Charles Addams' famous comic series, this Broadway gem from 2010 was crafted by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice (the masterminds behind "Jersey Boys"), with musical brilliance by Andrew Lippa (known for "You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown").
In this tale, Wednesday Addams ventures into the joys and challenges of first love while managing the peculiar dynamics of her eccentric family, including the fading trust between her parents, Morticia and Gomez. When the Addamses invite Wednesday's boyfriend, Lucas, and his wealthy family for dinner, you can expect things to go terribly wrong—or perhaps, unexpectedly right.
